DIRTY WORD band Friday Feb 4th

Dirty Word is a power house band on all levels.  This collection of 5 of the midwest’s most talented musicians dig deep into several genres of music spanning over 5 decades. Whether it be the funky soulful grooves of artists such as Prince, Knarls Barkley, and Michael Jackson to the screaming fiddles and huge guitars of groups like The Charlie Daniel’s Band, Journey, and Led Zeppelin. You will not find another band with more versatility, camaraderie, energy, and pure passion to perform than DW.

CHERRY PIE band Sat. Feb. 5th

JOHNNY HOLM band returns FRIDAY Jan. 28th!!

Kick off the party with a beer bash from 8 to 10pm:  a $5 donation to the softball team gets you FREE tap refills for two hours!  Then Johnny takes over till 2am.  Come ready to party, this is going to be a BIG night!

Summer volleyball leagues

I know it’s snowing outside, but summer will be here…sooner or later.  Registration for the 2011 summer volleyball leagues will begin in February.  Any team that played here last summer can save their spot for the 2011 season by registering in February.  Beginning in March, registration opens to the general public on a first come, first served basis.  DO NOT DELAY!  All coed leagues and the Thursday night women’s league filled 100% last year and MANY teams were turned away!  Start talking to your teammates and get those important sponsors lined up today.

ROCKSTARZ band Sat. Jan. 22nd

The “World’s greatest party band” will make their Spike’s debut Saturday January 22nd @ 10pm.  ROCKSTARZ is an incredible experience for the senses! Four rock legends in costume (Slash from Guns N Roses, Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, Peter Criss from Kiss, and Brett Michaels from Poison) performing a high-energy rock show featuring a playlist of hits from the 80′s to today.  Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson to Guns N Roses to Motley Crue including the newest dance hits and rock anthems!

ANNEX returns Friday Jan 21st

Walk into an annex show and get smacked with a wall of sound. This is a rock band. The Marshalls are dialed high, the Les Pauls are cranked, middle fingers split the glaring lights to say “F#@* all of you, we’re here to rock!” Guitars slap you in the face Drums drown out your heart beat Lights buzz with the bass lines Beers jump in the air with the hands raising them Hair flying, heads banging, the room quakes with each downbeat until the last piercing scream of exhaustion rounds out the encore and the lights go out.

There’s no such thing as silence as the last riff continues to echo in your head Broken drumsticks and guitar strings are all over the stage, everyone is passed out, exhausted from being so thoroughly rocked! After a 15 minute cuddle and a chaser, you stumble out in a post orgasmic trance.

Annex is the rock machine created by brothers Paul Hanna, lead vocal and guitar, and Craig Hanna, drummer. In the decade to follow their middle school debut, they’ve traveled coast-to-coast leaving trails of exhausted, happy fans. No ifs, ands or buts about it, Annex is a high-energy rock band.

POWER PLAY band (10pm) & BEERHUNTERS band (6pm) Fri. Jan. 14th

POWER PLAY returns for one big night Friday January 14th!  With over 400 songs on their playlist, they always keep the shows fun.  Everything from AC/DC and Bon Jovi to dance and country…these guys do it all well.  Plus…the BEERHUNTERS band kicks off the party at 6pm.  Don’t miss this talented local group of rockers.
