The party starts Thursday night with Spike’s legendary “2 for 1 Thursday” event!  No cover, 2 for 1s 9-11pm, all the best rock/dance/country with DJ Jagger till 2am!  Plus watch NFL preseason football AND the Wisconsin Badgers college football games here Thursday night on one of our HiDef  TVs.  Then DJ Jagger is back Friday night to start your holiday weekend off right.

Fall volleyball leagues begin next week!

Register your team today for the 2011 Fall Volleyball League.  Coed is on Wednesdays, and women’s league is on Thursdays.  DO NOT DELAY!  League begins next week, stop in to Spike’s and register your team today!  Call Spike’s at 507-331-1511 for more info.

Saturday Aug 27th COED CHAMPIONSHIP volleyball tournament!

There are 12 teams competing for the title of Overall Coed Champion: J&J Powersports, Rocker Shocker Showstopper, Signature, Grampa Al’s, Outsiders, Slammers, Ferrell Gas, Spike’s (tuesday), Buzzards, Boston’s, The Depot, and Reliance Bank.  Tournament play begins at noon and should end before 8pm.  The tournament is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION format, best 2 out of 3 games per match. 

Tournament bracket will be posted at 11am that day.  Teams are encouraged not to leave Spike’s between matches; if you are not ready when your match is called YOU WILL FORFIT the match.  The 1st two matches at noon are: Boston’s vs. J&J on court #1 and Buzzards vs. The Depot on court #2.  These matches may (or may not) end rapidly, so the rest of the teams need to be ready to play a.s.a.p.

All referee decisions are final!
