Volleyball leagues almost FULL!!

Tuesday & Wednesday coed nights are now full, there are some spots left for the Monday night coed.  Thursday women’s league is also nearly full.  DO NOT DELAY ANY LONGER, register your team today!  Simply bring your team’s deposit of $175 to Spike’s and fill out a registration form.  It’s been a long winter, and summer is always too short.  Don’t miss your chance to play on the best sand in town this summer.  2 for 1s every night for all teams too!

Summer volleyball leagues

I know it’s snowing outside, but summer will be here…sooner or later.  Registration for the 2011 summer volleyball leagues will begin in February.  Any team that played here last summer can save their spot for the 2011 season by registering in February.  Beginning in March, registration opens to the general public on a first come, first served basis.  DO NOT DELAY!  All coed leagues and the Thursday night women’s league filled 100% last year and MANY teams were turned away!  Start talking to your teammates and get those important sponsors lined up today.

VOLLEYBALL PARTY!!

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT 2010 SEASON!!  Join us for our volleyball appreciation party Saturday September 18th.  There will be a coed tournament starting at 1pm.   No entry fee/win t-shirts & other great prizes.  Registration will take place the day of the tournament.

Plus:  FREE  food buffet (turkey & gravey, salad, etc)  and FREE keg of beer for all 2010 Spike’s league players starting at 6 p.m.

Plus:  The band “2une” will perform from 8 pm to midnight.

The 4 nightly Champions along with FERRELL GAS, the 2010 overall volleyball champion, will also be recognized at the event.

FALL VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES

Registration has begun for fall volleyball leagues.  Four nights of play to choose from:  Tuesday Men’s 4 on 4, Wednesday Coed 6s, Thursday Women’s, Friday Women’s.  A $125 total fee will get your team in.  Five week season beginning Tuesday September 7th.  DOUBLE HEADERS EVERY NIGHT!!  Stop in today to register your team while there is still space available!

Thursday Women’s Volleyball League Standings thru 8/19

The Thursday Women’s League Tournament will be next week beginning at 6:15pm.  ALL MATCH TIMES ARE ONLY APPROXIMATE!  MATCHES WILL BE CALLED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF EARLIER MATCHES.  DON’T BE LATE OR YOU WILL FORFIT!  In other words, please play it safe and be here at least 30 minutes prior to your posted start times.  The actual bracket can be seen at Spike’s.

The tournament will be a single elimination format.  Teams will play TWO games to 21 points.  Total points will win the match. If total points are tied after a team reaches 21 points in game #2, we will continue for ONE extra “tie breaker” point.  Teams were seeded based on their final standings.  Ties were seperated based on head-to-head results.  If everything runs on time, the tournament Championship match will start around 10:15pm.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS!  AND THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL SUMMER!!!
